Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Brujo mobile application, the Brujo website (brujo.in), and related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Brujo ("Brujo", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account, accessing, downloading, installing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should immediately discontinue use of the Platform.
1. The Platform and Services
- Brujo is a digital travel platform through which trips — travel experiences, pilgrimages, tours, transportation services, excursions, and journeys — are listed, created, managed, or offered by trip organizers, and discovered and booked by travellers.
- The Services made available through the Platform include:
- Trip discovery, trip booking, and seat reservation.
- Personalized trip recommendations.
- QR-based ticketing and boarding.
- Live trip tracking and navigation assistance.
- Payment processing through authorized payment gateways.
- Notifications, customer support, ratings and reviews, account management, and promotional offers.
- Any additional services introduced by Brujo from time to time.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
- The Platform is intended for use by individuals who are legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law.
- You must generally be at least 18 years of age to independently create an Organizer account, make bookings, complete financial transactions, or otherwise enter into legally binding arrangements through the Platform.
- Individuals between 13 and 18 years of age may access or use certain features of the Platform only with the involvement, supervision, and consent of a parent or legal guardian, where permitted by applicable law.
- By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Accounts and Account Security
- To access most Services you must create an account — a registered digital profile. Depending on how you use the Platform, you may act as a Traveller, Organizer, Staff Member, Business Partner, Administrator, or Guest User.
- You are responsible for the activity performed through your account and device. In particular, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and never share OTPs with any person — Brujo will never request OTPs through unsolicited calls, emails, or messages.
- Use secure passwords and protect your device with a screen lock or biometric authentication where possible.
- Notify Brujo immediately if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
- Brujo is not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to protect your credentials or device.
4. Bookings, Digital Tickets and QR Codes
- A booking is a confirmed reservation made by a traveller through the Platform for participation in a trip. A booking may include a seat reservation, payment confirmation, booking reference number, digital ticket, and a QR boarding credential.
- Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment confirmation through the Platform.
- The QR Code issued for a booking is a unique digital boarding credential intended solely for the registered traveller.
- QR Codes must not be copied, altered, transferred, shared, or used fraudulently. Misuse of boarding credentials may result in denial of boarding and account enforcement action.
- Cancellations, modifications, and refunds for bookings are managed through the Platform in accordance with the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Payments
- Payments for bookings, services, and applicable fees are processed exclusively through authorized third-party payment gateways, including Razorpay, over encrypted communication channels.
- Brujo does not collect or store complete debit or credit card numbers, CVV numbers, UPI PINs, internet banking passwords, or payment authentication credentials.
- Brujo may retain limited payment references — transaction ID, payment status, timestamp, booking reference, refund status, and the last four digits of a payment card — where required for customer support, reconciliation, or dispute resolution.
- Brujo maintains financial transaction records and takes measures to prevent duplicate or fraudulent transactions and to resolve payment disputes.
- Payment gateways process payments in accordance with their own terms, privacy practices, and applicable industry security standards, including PCI DSS where applicable.
6. User Conduct
- When using the Platform, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
- Create duplicate accounts or impersonate any person or entity.
- Copy, alter, transfer, or fraudulently use QR boarding credentials.
- Harm other users or interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Platform.
- Violate these Terms, community guidelines, or applicable law.
7. Reviews, Ratings and User Content
- The Platform allows users to submit feedback, ratings, reviews, and related media. By submitting such content you confirm it is genuine and based on your own experience.
- Reviews, ratings, and other user-generated content published publicly may remain visible after account deletion where necessary to preserve the integrity, transparency, and reliability of the Platform.
- Where technically feasible, such content may be anonymized to remove direct personal identifiers.
8. Communications
- Brujo may contact you by email, push notification, or other authorized channels about your account and the Services — verification, booking confirmations, trip reminders, boarding notifications, refund and cancellation updates, support responses, security alerts, and policy changes. These are essential to the Service and continue even if you opt out of promotional messages.
- Promotional communications (offers, product updates, surveys) are optional; opt out anytime via account settings or the unsubscribe link.
9. Privacy
Brujo collects, uses, stores, processes, protects, shares, and retains personal information as described in the Brujo Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it carefully — it also describes the device permissions the mobile application may request and the third-party services integrated into the Platform.
10. Third-Party Services
- The Platform integrates trusted third-party technologies — including Google Sign-In, Razorpay, Google Maps Platform, Google Places API, Firebase, Cloudinary, and email service providers — to support authentication, payments, mapping, analytics, notifications, media storage, and communications.
- These services process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. Brujo does not store or assume responsibility for any personal or public data, or any data loss, associated with users who choose to use third-party services outside our Platform to access specific or personalized travel deals.
11. Suspension and Termination
Brujo may suspend, restrict, deactivate, or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms or community guidelines, engage in fraud or unlawful activity, abuse the Platform, or harm other users — with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
12. Account Deactivation and Deletion
You may request deactivation or deletion of your account at any time using the account management features within the Platform or by contacting Brujo Customer Support. Deactivation temporarily disables access while allowing account recovery; deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, with certain records retained where required for legal, taxation, audit, fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution purposes.
13. Security and Disclaimer
- Brujo implements commercially reasonable, industry-standard technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards — including HTTPS/TLS encryption, password hashing, authentication controls, monitoring, and fraud detection — to protect the Platform and user information.
- However, no method of electronic transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Brujo cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, cyberattacks, data breaches, or other security incidents will never occur, and users acknowledge these inherent risks when using internet-based services.
14. Changes to these Terms
Brujo may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, technology, law, or business operations. Material changes are published on the Platform with a revised "Last Updated" date and, where required by law, notified by email, push, or in-app notice. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance; if you disagree, discontinue use of the Platform.
15. Governing Law and Legal Requests
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the Platform operates in accordance with all laws, rules, regulations, governmental notifications, judicial decisions, and statutory requirements applicable to Brujo — including laws relating to privacy, consumer protection, electronic transactions, taxation, and travel services.
- Brujo may disclose information and cooperate with courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities as required or permitted under applicable law, including to investigate fraud, enforce these Terms, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Brujo, our users, or the public.
16. Contact
- For questions, concerns, or complaints regarding these Terms, contact us at official@brujo.in. These Terms are effective from 10 July 2026 (Version 1).
- Grievance Officer: to be announced · Email: official@brujo.in · Phone: to be announced. A complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month of receipt; you can also raise it in the app under Help → Write to us → Grievance.
